When the book arrived in the mail, for some reason I felt I had to open it and start reading right away. I could hardly put it down, and was done in only a few days because I was glued to it for so long. This is very unusual for me...I am normally a slow reader.I am not a literary type by no means, but I still feel this was exceptional work. There is no doubt in my mind that the author behind this novel is an extremely talented, creatively gifted, intelligent storyteller. He must've put a lot of "blood sweat & tears" (as the saying goes) into this work, and I certainly felt privileged to be able to experience such a unique imagination. A truly remarkable mind behind this. I certainly hope he continues writing and would be very interested in any future works.
The plot had quite a few unexpected twists and turns that really engages the reader. The characters come alive and I really found myself wanting to know what happens to them throughout reading the book. At the end, it does leave me with some questions about how it all came to be---wondering if a sequel was intended? Nevertheless, an exciting journey.
Highly recommended work. Loved it.

Mystery, intrigue, secrets, this book has them all. I was pulled in from the first few pages and the story delivered right through to the last page. I would love to read a sequel!! Very talented author.
